PRESIDENT RUPIAH BANDA HAS ASSURED TOURISTS VISITING THE COUNTRY OF SAFETY BEFORE AND AFTER THE ELECTIONS

PRESIDENT RUPIAH  BANDA HAS ASSURED  TOURISTS  VISITING THE COUNTRY OF SAFETY BEFORE AND AFTER THE ELECTIONS.
SPEAKING DURING THE OFFICIAL OPENING OF THE 5TH INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR PEACE AND TOURISM CONFERENCE IN LUSAKA TODAY PRESIDENT BANDA SAID ZAMBIA IS A PEACEFUL COUNTRY HENCE IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT   EVERYONE ELSE MAINTAINS IT.
PRESIDENT BANDA SAYS GOVERNMENT IS ALSO CONCERNED WITH THE IMPACT OF CLIMATE CHANGE ACROSS THE COUNTRY HENCE THE  NEED TO WORK TOGETHER WITH OTHER PARTNERS.
HE EXPLAINES THAT GOVERNMENT IS IN THE PROCESS OF IMPLEMENTING THE NATIONAL CLIMATE CHANGE STRATEGY AND WILL BE IN PLACE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
AND SPEAKING AT THE SAME FUNCTION, FIRST REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT DR KENNETH KAUNDA SAYS THERE IS NEED FOR POLITICAL DIALOGUE BETWEEN ALL OPPOSITION PARTIES IF PEACE HAS TO CONTINUE PREVAILING IN THE COUNTRY.
