A visiting international humanitarian from the united states of American Mr. Joe Beasley has called on the political players to ensure that they uphold peace

A visiting international humanitarian from the united states of American Mr. Joe Beasley has called on the political players to ensure that they uphold the peace that the country has enjoyed from the time immemorial.
Speaking in an interview with radio phoenix today Mr. Beasley said political leaders must ensure that peace prevails in the country before, during and after the general elections.
He says uprising in Arab world and North Africa in particular should not be replicated in Zambia at all.
Mr. Beasley states that there is need for the leaders to address the real issue that are affecting the Zambians as they prepare for the elections.
And Mr. Beasley has urged the African leaders to unite in resolving the many social ills that the people are faced with.
He said African leaders should not be seen to wait for the westerners to come and resolve their problems but was hast to state that the problems that African face can be tackled by the Africans themselves.
