PURPORTED INTERIM COMMITTEE MEMBER COLLINS MUTAMBO 48HOURS ULTIMATUM WITHIN WHICH TO RETRACT HIS STATEMENT ON CORRUPTION

FOOD AND GENERAL SUPPLIERS ASSOCIATION OF ZAMBIA PRESIDENT HUMPHREY MUSONDA HAS GIVEN THE PURPORTED INTERIM COMMITTEE MEMBER COLLINS MUTAMBO 48HOURS ULTIMATUM WITHIN WHICH TO RETRACT HIS STATEMENT ON CORRUPTION THAT HE LABELED  THE ENTIRE ASSOCIATION EXECUTIVE.
MR MUSONDA  WHO WAS FLANKED WITH HIS EXECUTIVE AT RADIO PHOENIX THIS AFTERNOON,  HAS  SINCE WARNED  MR MUTAMBO  TO RETRACT HIS ALLEGATIONS OR RISK BEEN SUED.
HE STRESSED THAT MR MUTAMBO IS NOT A MEMBER OF THE ASSOCIATION AND DOES NOT HAVE ANY BILLS WITH GOVERNMENT AND FURTHER CHALLENGED  HIM TO TELL THE NATION HOW MUCH HE IS OWED AND BY WHOM.
MR MUSONDA WAS REACTING TO THE ALLEGATIONS MADE BY MR COLLINS MUTAMBO AT A PRESS BRIEFING TODAY THAT DEBT WHICH THE ASSOCIATION IS OWED BY FOUR GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS WAS DUE TO THE NON PERFORMANCE OF THE CURRENT EXECUTIVE. 
MEANWHILE, MR MUSONDA HAS TOLD RADIO PHOENIX THAT THE ASSOCIATION WILL ON THE 2ND APRIL, 2011 HOLD  THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE  CONSTITUTION.
