THE ANDREW KAMANGA LED FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION OF ZAMBIA EXECUTIVE HAS REVEALED THAT THE ONLY AGENDA THAT WILL TABLED AT THE FORTH COMING FAZ ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING WILL BE THAT WHICH WILL BE PUT FORWARD BY THE MEMBERS.
SPEAKING IN AN INTERVIEW WITH RADIO PHOENIX SPORTS LAST NIGHT ANDREW KAMANGA EXPLAINED THAT THE ONLY ITEM THAT THEY HAVE RECEIVED FROM FAZ AHEAD OF THE A.G.M IS THE NOTICE WITH NO AGENDA ACCOMPANYING IT.
HE ADDED THAT WHAT FAZ ISSUED WAS AN INDICATIVE AGENDA AND MEMBERS HAVE A RIGHT TO REQUEST FOR OTHER ITEMS LIKE THE VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE TO BE INCLUDED ON THE MAIN AGENDA.
KAMANGA HAS SINCE CALLED ON THE COUNCIL MEMBERS NOT BE DISTURBED BY THE SPECULATIONS THAT ARE BEEN PERPETUATED BY THE KALUSHA BWALYA LED EXECUTIVE.
AND KAMANGA ADVISED THE KALUSHA BWALYA LED EXECUTIVE TO WAIT UNTIL 5TH MARCH, 2011 BEFORE SPECULATING THAT THE VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE WILL NOT BE TABLED AT THE A.G.M.
THE INTERIM FAZ PRESIDENT EXPLAINED THAT ACCORDING TO THE FAZ CONSTITUTION CLAUSE 26 SUB SECTION 3, MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION HAVE THE MANDATE TO CALL FOR THE VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE.
YESTERDAY, FAZ SPOKESPERSON ERICK MWANZA HOWEVER SAID THE VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE AT THE NEXT MONTH’S ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING IS NOT PROVIDED IN THEIR CONSTITUTION.
