The anti-voter apathy project executive director bonny Tembo has accused the church of taking political sides.
Mr Tembo says this has made the lives of Zambians very difficult as they do not have anywhere to run to when there is a crisis in the country.
He has since called on the church and other stakeholders to provide Neutral Avenue where the dialogue which is lacking will be conducted.
And commenting on the on going campaigns in the country ahead of the 2011 general elections, Mr Tembo bemoaned the sole endorsement going on in the ruling mmd stating that this poses a threat to the country young democracy.
But the Methodist clergy woman Edith Mutale as dismissed the allegation that that church is taking political side stating that the only side they take is that of the Zambians.
