The outspoken kafulafuta member of parliament George Mpombo says that he and his lawyers have appealed the judgement passed last month to expel from the ruling mmd.
The ruling mmd expelled the kafulafuta parliamentarian last month from the party for bringing the name of the party into disrepute.
But Mpombo has today told radio phoenix that he will ensure that the matter is conclusively dealt and justice prevails.
He explained that last week he instructed his lawyers Wynter Kabimba and company to proceed with the appeal the judgement passed by the high court last month.
Mr Mpombo said he is not taking any chances are since determined to ensure that fight to the very end.
In her ruling dated November 30, 2010, Ms Justice Florence Lengalenga said the MP had failed to satisfy the court on his right to relief and how he was likely to suffer irreparable damage or injury if the injunction was not granted.
The application was dismissed with costs.
Recently, the Lusaka High Court dismissed Mr Mpombo’s application for an injunction to restrain the MMD from asking the Speaker of the National Assembly to declare the Kafulafuta Constituency seat vacant, following his expulsion from the party.
Mr Mpombo had argued that the grounds of the expulsion lacked merit.
