MOA sets measures to secure all maize grain

The minister of agriculture and cooperatives dr Eustarckio Kazonga has point out that it has set measures to secure all the maize that was bought from farmers across the country especially with the on set of the rains.
In an interview with radio phoenix, Dr Kazonga explained that most maize has been secured in satellite depots awaiting the final storage facilities.
He however said in case the maize has been found unsecure, the instructions are given to relevant agriculture officers who in turn find a safe place for the grain.
Dr Kazonga has since called on Zambians to report to his office the areas where grain would not have been secured so that adequate action is taken.
There have been complaints from concerned citizens that some grain in certain districts is not secured especially with the on set of the rains.
