BHART AIRTEL WARNS THAT THEY WILL NOT TOLERATE STEALING OF ZAMBIAN MUSIC

THE NEW OWNERS OF ZAIN ZAMBIA, BHART AIRTEL HAVE WARNED THAT THEY WILL NOT TOLERATE STEALING OF ZAMBIAN MUSIC THROUGH DOWNLOADS INTO PHONES.
ZAIN ZAMBIA OF LATE HAS COME UNDER FIRE FROM MUSICIANS WHO HAVE ACCUSED THE COMPANY OF DOWN LOADING THEIR MUSIC WITHOUT SEEKING PERMISSION FROM WHICH THEY HAVE SAID IS ILLEGAL UNDER THE ZAMBIA COPYRIGHT OF THE ZAMCORPS.
SPEAKING TODAY DURING THE OFFICIAL LAUNCH OF THE TAKE OVER OF ZAIN ZAMBIA BY BHARTI-AIRTEL CHAIRPERSON SUNILEE BHARTI MITTAL SAYS THE INCIDENT THAT HAPPENED WERE THE COMPANY WAS IMPLICATED WAS UNFORTUNATE AND SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO HAPPENED.
MR. MITTAL WHO ALSO PLEDGED HIS COMPANY’S TOTAL COMMITMENT IN BRINGING INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY AND UPLIFTING THE LEVEL OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS IN THE COUNTRY STATED THAT BHARTI-AIRTEL WILL INCREASE ITS SITES COVERAGE FROM THE CURRENT 600 TO 900 IN THE NEXT THREE MONTHS.
HE HAS PROJECTED GROWTH IN THE TELECOMMUNICATION SECTOR IN THE COUNTRY AS THE INDUSTRY IS MORE VIBRANT THAN ANY SECTOR IN THE REGION.
