DIPLOMAT URGES LEADERS TO KEEP THEIR PROMISE

ISRAELI DEPUTY  AMBASSADOR TO ZAMBIA MAOR ELBAZ-STARINSKY HAS CALLED ON ZAMBIAN POLITICIANS NOT TO NEGLECT THE ELECTORATE ONCE THEY ARE ELECTED TO ASSUME PUBLIC OFFICE.
IN AN INTERVIEW WITH RADIO PHOENIX, MR STARINSKY HAS OBSERVED THAT POLITICIANS IN ZAMBIA AND THE WORLD OVER HAVE A TENDENCY OF MAKING PROMISES THEY LATER ON FAIL TO HONOUR.
HE HAS SINCE CHALLENGED POLITICIANS NOT TO FORGET THEIR VOTERS ADDING THAT THEY SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE IT IN MIND THAT IF IT WAS NOT FOR THE SACRIFICES OF THE ELECTORATE ,THEY WOULD NEVER HOLD HIGH GOVERNMENT POSITIONS
