FAZ FINALLY BOWS DOWN TO PRESSURE TO HOLD AN EMERGNECY COUNCIL MEETING


FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION OF ZAMBIA HAS FINALLY BOWED TO PUBLIC PRESSURE AND HAVE SINCE CALLED FOR AN EMERGENCY COUNCIL MEETING AIMED AT RESOLIVING THE IMPASSE THAT HAS SUROUNDEDD THE ASSCOIATUIION.
FAZ SECRETARY GENERAL GEORGE KASENGELE HAS ANNOUNCED TODAY IN LUSAKA DURING A PRESS BRIEFING THAT THE MEETING IS SLATED FOR 27TH NOVEMBER, 2010 AT MASIYE MOTEL IN KABWE AT 10:00 HOURS.
KASENGELE SAYS THE MEETING WILL BE PRESIDED BY FAZ PRESIDENT KALUSAHA BWALYA AND THE ONLY AGENDA FOR THE MEETING WILL BE TO LOOK AT THE POSITION OF THE CURRENT FAZ EXECUTIVE.
HE SAY THE FAZ’S POSITION TO HOLD A MEETING FOLLOW WIDER LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL CONSULTATION AND THE ASSOCIATION HAS SINCE DEMMED IT FIT TO HOLD IT.
AND KASENGELE HAS MAINTAINED THAT THERE IS NO CLUB THAT HAS WRIITTEN TO FAZ TO ASK FOR THE MEETIMG APART FROM NCHANGA RANGER AND CHIPEMBELE OF MANSA.
FOLLOWING THE RESIGNATION OF FOUR DULLY ELECTED FAZ EXECUTIVE MEMBERS FAZ HAS BEEN IN TURMOIL AS THEY COULD NOT FORM A COLLUM TO DELIBARATE ANY BUSINESS.
