NSCZ stays put on faz'a Kalusha led executive

IN SPORTS NEWS: THE NATIONAL SPORTS COUNCIL OF ZAMBIA (NSCZ) HAS MAINTAINED THEIR INITIAL POSITION THAT THE CURRENT FAZ EXECUTIVE IS ILLEGALLY OCCUPYING  OFFICE AS THEY CANNOT FORM A QUROUM TO DELIBARATE ANY BUSINESS.
THIS WAS IN REACTION TO A LETTER THAT FIFA WROTE TO THE COUNCIL IN RESPNSE TO THE EARLIER REPORT THAT THAT NSCZ WROTE TO THE SOCCER GOVERNINING BODY RECOMMENDATING THAT FAZ SHOULD CALL FOR AN EMERGENY CCOUNCIL MEETING TO RESOLVE SOME OF ITS PROBLEMS FOLLOWING THE RESIGNATION OF ITS FOUR MEMBERS.
THE NSCZ SPOKESPERSON MATTHEW MWIITWA DISCLOAED THIS DURING A PRESS BRIEFING IN LUSAKA TODAY SAYING THEY STILL MAINTAIN THEIR STANCE THAT FAZ HAS NO MANDATE TO RUN THE AFFFAIRS OF SOCCER WITH AN ILLEGAL BOARD.
MWIITWA SAYS THIS FOLLOWS THEIR WIDER CONSULTATTION WITH ALL STAKEHOLDERS, EXPERTS AND LEGAL BRAIN THAT HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN FOOTBALL ADMINISTRATION IN THE COUNTRY.
AND MWIITWA HAS THANKED FIFA FOR REVERTING TO THE COUNCIL’S REPORT SUBMITTED TO THEM ADDING THAT THEY TOO ENDORSED THEIR POSITION THAT DIALOGUE WILL CERTAINLY HELP ALL CONCERNED PARTIES TO FIND SOLUTION TO THE CURRENT IMPASSE AT FAZ.
